Ingredients
- 4salmon fillets6 oz each, skin-on
- 1teaspoonkosher salt
- 0.5teaspoonblack pepper
- 2tablespoonsolive oil
- 4garlic clovesminced
- 1lemonjuiced + zest of half
- 2tablespoonsunsalted butter
- 2tablespoonsfresh parsleychopped
- 1tablespoonfresh dillchopped (optional)
- 0lemon wedgesfor serving
Instructions

Pat salmon dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Place salmon skin-side down. Cook undisturbed for 4 minutes until skin is golden and crisp.

Flip and cook 2-3 minutes more for medium (internal temp 125°F).

Reduce heat to low, add butter, garlic, lemon juice, and zest to the pan. Spoon melted butter over salmon for 1 minute.

Sprinkle with parsley and dill. Serve with lemon wedges and the pan sauce.
