- 1tablespoonground cumin
- 1teaspoonsmoked paprika
- 1teaspoondried oregano
- 1teaspoonkosher salt
- 0.5cuptomato sauce
- 12small corn tortillas
- 2cupsshredded lettuce
- 1cupshredded cheddar cheese
- 1cupdiced tomatoes
- 0.5cupsour cream
- 0.25cupfresh cilantrochopped
- 1limecut into wedges

Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add beef and break apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 6 minutes.

Add onion and garlic, cook until softened, 3 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.

Warm tortillas: char directly over a gas flame for 10 seconds per side, or wrap in damp paper towels and microwave 30 seconds.

Build tacos: spoon beef into tortillas, top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
