- 2cupsbuttermilk
- 2large eggs
- 4tablespoonsunsalted buttermelted, plus more for the pan
- 1teaspoonvanilla extract
- 0maple syrupfor serving
Instructions

Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.

Pour wet ingredients into dry and fold gently until just combined — small lumps are fine, do not overmix.

Heat a griddle or large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Brush with butter.

Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook 1-2 minutes more.

Keep warm in a 200°F oven while cooking the rest. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
